HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - Perhaps lost in the focus on the weather along the Lakeshore this week was another price spike at the gas pumps. The per-gallon average among stations in the Holland area polled this morning stood at $3.42, nine cents below Monday’s across-the-board hike, but eight pennies higher than last Friday. A year ago, fuel was selling for $3.44 a gallon. Triple-A’s daily survey had marks of $3.33 nationally and $3.39 statewide.
