MUSKEGON TWP., MI (WHTC) - The apparent scandal surrounding Patricia McGraw continues. The former Patricia Koeze, who was West Ottawa’s school superintendent for four years before leaving 18 months ago, resigned as superintendent of the WayPoint Academy in Muskegon Township yesterday, 10 days after accepting the job while still on the Portage schools’ payroll as that district’s human resources director. McGraw’s attorney reportedly claims that the administrator was the victim of a “smear campaign” by Portage officials after a four-page document released this week indicated that McGraw was the “other woman” in an extramarital affair that compelled the board to suspend Superintendent Ric Perry, who along with McGraw eventually resigned “involuntarily.” WayPoint officials are not commenting about McGraw’s departure from their academy.
