ZEELAND, MI (WHTC) - The recent snowfall that has slammed the Lakeshore has apparently come too late. Officials of five communities across Michigan, including Zeeland and Douglas, announced yesterday the cancellation of the “Wintervention” Snowman Building Challenge for this Saturday due to previously unseasonably warm weather. They hope that some “real winter weather” will come next month to allow for a rescheduling of this activity.
