ALLEGAN, MI (WHTC) - A 21-year-old Holland man remains held on 25 thousand dollars bond after arraignment on various charges. Prosecutors claim that Zachary Fitts bit the finger of a man who startled him as he was allegedly burglarizing a home on 40^th Street in Overisel Township last Thursday morning. He was arrested hours later; the victim suffered only a minor injury. As a habitual offender, he could face years in prison if convicted. Fitts has a preliminary hearing next Tuesday.
