LANSING, MI (WHTC) - Ridership on Amtrak’s Pere Marquette passenger rail service from Grand Rapids to Chicago, which stops twice daily in Holland, had more than 109 thousand passengers during 2012, a 2.7 percent increase from the year before, with revenues of 3.3 million just marginally improved from 2011. Overall, there were almost 793 thousand passengers and 28 million dollars in revenue among Michigan’s three Amtrak routes last year.
