ZEELAND, MI (WHTC) - Today’s inclement weather that necessitated the cancellation of classes in Zeeland Public Schools may have spoiled the official first day for new district Superintendent Calvin De Kuiper. He was named in December to replace Gary Feenstra, who had been the interim chief since July following the resignation of Dave Barry. There will be a community open house for De Kuiper and his family on February 5^th at Zeeland East High.
