ZEELAND, MI (WHTC) - Two people wishing to fill a vacancy on the Zeeland City Council will state their cases before the other panel members during tonight’s business meeting. Schyuler Wilson is a financial planner who lost in the 2011 council election; Susan Finney is a staffer at the Goodwill offices on Holland’s North Side and never ran for political office before. The two will answer questions from council members before they make a decision in a special meeting next Monday evening. The vacancy was created when Al Dannenberg resigned following a decade of service after winning election to the Ottawa County Board.
