LANSING (WKZO) -- Governor Rick Snyder announced his support for new measures to make it easier for residents to register to vote.
The proposals outlined in the State of the State address Wednesday night include online voter registration and no-reason absentee voting. Secretary of State Ruth Johnson says new technology will make reforms possible.
Snyder also wants to modernize campaign contribution limits and have candidates file quarterly campaign finance reports. The proposals have bipartisan support in the legislature.
