HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - He may not be picking up where he left off, but Dr. James Gentile is coming back to the same positions at Hope College that he had eight years ago. Retiring as president of Research Corporation for Science Advancement in June, he will return to the Holland school as a biology professor and dean of Hope’s Natural and Applied Sciences department. Dr. Gentile held both spots for 17 years before leaving the college for the RCSA opportunity in 2005. Ironically, he will be replacing the man who had succeeded him at Hope, as Dr. Moses Lee departs to become the program director of the MJ Murdock Charitable Trust.
