ROBINSON TWP., MI (WHTC) - A Robinson Township gun store known for being a target of burglars was struck again over the weekend. According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Kevin Allman, deputies were called to Felix’ Gun Shop when it opened on Saturday morning. A quantity of handguns and long guns were taken from the Green Street establishment just east of Grand Haven.
The sergeant gave few other details about the break in, and no suspects are in custody. Anybody with any information is asked to call the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department or Silent Observer (877-88-SILENT, http://mosotips.com).
Felix’ Gun Shop was victimized by burglars three separate times in a three-year period, from 2006 through 2009, with over 170 weapons taken in that span, including 76 in a single incident five years ago.
