HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - Two separate home burglaries on Thursday evening have Holland Public Safety officers looking for stolen guns. One residence in the 900 block of Columbia Avenue had a .357 revolver swiped, along with a flat-screen television and cash, and investigators believe that a unlocked door enabled the suspect or suspects to enter the house. The other residence in the 200 block of East 35th Street had three semiautomatic handguns taken, and the suspects apparently entered by forcing open a locked rear door. Authorities say that the close proximity of the two break ins, along with the fact that weapons were taken in each case, lead them to believe that the incidents are related. No suspects are in custody, and tips to Holland Public Safety or Silent Observer (877-88-SILENT, http://mosotips.com) are welcome.
