Grand Valley State's basketball teams are at home on Saturday afternoon, welcoming Michigan Tech to the Fieldhouse Arena in Allendale.

In state major-college basketball on Saturday: Matinees include Western Michigan home to Ohio and Detroit traveling to Cleveland State; evening action finds Central Michigan at Toledo, Eastern Michigan invading Bowling Green, and Oakland at North Dakota State.


Follow NFL playoff action on 1450 WHTC this weekend, beginning at 4:30 PM on Saturday with Baltimore at Denver and Green Bay at San Francisco, and continuing at 12:30 PM on Sunday with Seattle at Atlanta and Houston at New England.


Greg Monroe scored 26 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, as the Pistons won at Milwaukee on Friday night, 103-87. Detroit is home to Utah at the Palace on Saturday evening.

Luol Deng's 33 points helped the Bulls to victory at New York on Friday night, 108-101. Chicago entertains Phoenix at the United Center on Saturday evening.


Brandon Saad scored one goal and set up three others, leading Rockford past the visiting Griffins on Friday night, 5-2. Grand Rapids welcomes Peoria to Van Andel Arena on Sunday evening.
