ALLEGAN, MI (WHTC) - An 18-year-old Allegan woman allegedly involved in the interstate flight of two fugitives from a correctional program in Baldwin last fall is now in custody at home. Allegan city police arrested Brittany Rector on Friday, and she was arraigned on second-degree home invasion and auto theft charges. Authorities claim that she helped boyfriend Kenneth Grauman and Gregory Bradshaw flee out of Michigan, and along with Lauralee Grauman, they were captured at a motel near Pueblo, Colorado nearly two weeks after the men escaped. Rector and Lauralee Grauman pleaded guilty to charges out west surrounding their arrest, while the two men remain jailed in Colorado pending the final disposition of their case before any extradition to Michigan will be held. Rector remains held on 15 thousand-dollars bond; Lauralee Grauman is now being sought locally.
