WEST OLIVE (WHTC) - Remember the good ol’ days when kids named their dogs Fido, Spot, and some cases, Fifi? They’ve been replaced by Molly, Lucy and Bailey. They’re the most popular names for Ottawa County dog owners who bought licenses from the county treasurer’s office last year, that word from treasurer Brad Slagh. Bailey was the most popular in 2011, but slipped to third last year, while Molly moved up from number three to the top spot in 2012. Most popular breeds stayed the same – Labrador retrievers, golden retrievers and Shih-Tzus.
