LANSING (WHTC) - A former physician at Holland Hospital and Zeeland Community Hospital has been appointed by Governor Snyder to serve on a state board that regulates speech-language pathologists. Melissa Pynnonen is an associate professor at the University of Michigan Health System and is former co-director of Michigan Sinus Center. Pynnonen was a physician at Holland Hospital, Zeeland Community Hospital and North Ottawa Community Hospital in Grand Haven from 2000-2002. She’s one of four new members on the Michigan Board of Speech Language Pathology.
