GRAND HAVEN, MI (WHTC) - An initial appearance before Ottawa County Circuit Court Judge Ed Post is slated this afternoon for Daniel Pigott, a 33-year-old Columbus, Ohio man who had recently moved to the Holland area and was arrested over Thanksgiving weekend after an alleged altercation with his girlfriend. He was bound over 11 days ago on various charges stemming from the incident in which the victim was hospitalized for a deep cut on her head. Pigott, who remains held on 75 hundred dollars bond, is slated for trial on February 8^th.
