HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - On the second day of the New Year, the Holland City Council goes right back to work tonight. Among the items on tonight’s meeting agenda: Approval of BPW requests to extend the utility’s budget filing date, along with increasing trunkage and assessment charges and filling vacancies in communications and customer programming staffing; a couple of liquor license transfer petitions; awarding of a mechanical maintenance services contract for various municipal buildings, including City Hall and the Civic Center; and helping to establish a trial website for the city’s Community Energy Strategy initiative. Tonight's meeting begins in Council Chambers at City Hall at 7 PM.
