SPRING LAKE, MI (WHTC) - The first of two scheduled town hall meetings on state transportation funding, conducted by State Senator Arlan Meekhof, is this evening. The West Olive Republican will be joined by his House successor, Amanda Price of Park Township, for the hour-long session at the Spring Lake District Library, beginning at 7 PM. They will be going over the Governor’s proposals for 1.2 billion dollars in road repairs, along with alternatives being discussed in the Legislature. A second meeting is slated for March 19^th in Jenison.
