Hope's Men Win to Set Up Two MIAA Title Battles at Calvin; Prep Basketball Tonight

Grand Valley State split a couple of games at Saginaw Valley State last night. In the opener, Tyrone Lee’s 13 points enabled the visiting Laker men to win, 60-52. Katelyn Carriere tallied 21 as the Cardinal women salvaged the nightcap, 71-61. Both of GVSU’s teams are in Detroit to face Wayne State tomorrow.


High school basketball along the Lakeshore last night saw Calvary sweep Algoma Christian by scores of 77-62 for the boys and 63-23 for the girls, while Saugatuck’s girls lost to Watervliet, 46-36.
