HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - It was a relatively routine Holland City Council meeting last night, as members are awaiting a proposed fiscal 2014 budget from City Manager Ryan Cotton that should be before them in April. During last night’s proceedings, council approved two parking changes, one along 34th Street between Washington and Maple avenues, and the other on 8th Street downtown, both to accommodate needs of local businesses. Council also heard the formal presentation of a final report by the Windmill Island Gardens Strategic Planning Committee about future plans for the home of the DeZwaan Windmill, although there are no funds currently available to address some of those issues.
