OKEMOS, MI (WHTC) - Despite wintery weather conditions, officials of Citizens for Independent and Cooperative Communities were able to deliver petitions with 342 signatures to the State Boundary Commission yesterday. The group wants voters to decide whether Saugatuck and Douglas should merge into a single municipality. The SBC has already decided on consolidation.
