WETMORE (WKZO) -- A sled dog is dead after an accident in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. It happened Sunday near Wetmore. Police say a man driving a pickup truck slowed as he approached the sled dogs, but was unable to avoid striking them. They were taking part in the U.P. 200 race, which began Friday in Marquette.
