EAST LANSING, MI (WHTC) - A star swimmer at Holland High is the only one of four finalists from Lakeshore-based schools to win a statewide honor. Connor Bos will be among 32 pupils statewide to receive a one thousand-dollar MHSAA Scholar-Athlete Award during next month’s state basketball finals. He has been a four-year standout in the pool for the Dutch, as well as earning various classroom and academic honors. Zeeland East’s Kelly Raterink, Hamilton’s Molly Oren and Saugatuck’s Zach Kerr were also finalists for this award, won last year by Holland Christian's Julie Buursma.
