COOPER TWP., MI (WHTC) - A 22-year-old Allendale man is in the Kalamazoo County Jail on various charges after a Friday break in of a Cooper Township residence was foiled by a neighbor, who called authorities when he noticed a “strange situation and a subject.” That unnamed caller stayed on the line and gave deputies an accurate description of the suspect and the situation, which helped in apprehending the man a few blocks away. All of the stolen property was recovered and returned to the owner, who wasn’t home at the time. No names were disclosed.
