BIG RAPIDS, MI (WHTC) - The father of a Hope College student remains missing after his vehicle, keys and wallet were found in a Missouri forest last night. Fred Byrne hasn’t been seen since dropping off his son at the Holland school on Tuesday afternoon and visiting the student’s mother, who lives in the Tulip City. Family members became concerned when Byrne didn’t return to his Big Rapids home by as planned, and say that such a disappearance is out of character. Anyone with any information as to Byrne’s whereabouts is asked to call 911.
