HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - The state Occupational Safety and Health Administration announced yesterday that the Herman Miller Midwest Distribution Center in Holland was recertified as a MCPP Star Award winner, the highest workplace safety and health accolade the agency can bestow. The main warehouse and distribution center for the Zeeland-based office furniture maker employs 180 workers, and its incidence rate, along with its lost work day rate, are well below the statewide average. The plant had earned Star Awards in 2006 and 2009.
