LANSING (WKZO) -- The president of the United Auto Workers union is blaming the Republican majority in the Michigan Senate on current state Democratic Party Chairman Mark Brewer.
Bob King wants to oust Brewer from the position and replace him with Lon Johnson. He called the GOP majority in the Senate a "disappointment" from the 2012 election, even though no Senate elections were held last year.
The 2010 election was dismal for Michigan Democrats, as the Republican majority in the Senate that year grew to a 26-12 edge.
