LANSING (WKZO) -- Mothers Against Drunk Driving is urging the state legislature to take action to keep the level at which a driver is considered to be drunk, at the same level it is now.  Currently a driver with a blood alcohol level of 0.08 is considered drunk.

Unless lawmakers take action by October 1st that level would revert back to 0.1.  That's where it was in 2003 when a law was passed lowering the level to the current rate.  That law, though, had a sunset provision, meaning it would revert back in ten years.
