NUNICA, MI (WHTC) - The construction season may start early in the Nunica area. Depending on the weather, road crews will be preparing westbound I-96 this week for two-way traffic between Apple Drive and Cleveland Street, as work on putting up a junction for the new M-231 highway, along with rebuilding the M-104 interchange nearby and other local bridges, is slated to begin on February 18^th and run through mid-November.
