ZEELAND, MI (WHTC) - During tonight’s Zeeland Board of Education meeting, the members will be asked to approve two ballot proposals that voters in the district would decide in the May 7^th election. One is the renewal of the annual 18-mill non-homestead property tax, and the other is continuing a 10-year, four-tenths of a mill recreation levy. The board will also go behind closed doors to discuss the upcoming teacher union contract negotiations.
