ZEELAND, MI (WHTC) - During tonight’s Zeeland Board of Education meeting, the members will be asked to approve two ballot proposals that voters in the district would decide in the May 7th election. One is the renewal of the annual 18-mill non-homestead property tax, and the other is continuing a 10-year, four-tenths of a mill recreation levy. The board will also go behind closed doors to discuss the upcoming teacher union contract negotiations.
