ALLENDALE (WHTC) - Grand Valley State University students will be paying more to stay on-campus next fall. The University’s Board of Trustees Friday approved a 1.6 percent increase in room and board for next year, with students who stay in a traditional living center paying 2-thousand-740 dollars per semester, a 40-dollar increase. Students who sign up for a 14-meal plan will pay another 13-hundred dollars, also a 40-dollar hike. Officials say the 1.6 percent increase is less than the five-year statewide average increase of 3.3 percent.
