DETROIT (WKZO) -- The Wayne County Prosecutor's office will have the final say in whether a 70-year-old man will face charges in connection with a deadly shooting outside of Martin Luther King Junior High School in Detroit.
Police say the man, a girls' basketball team coach, was approached outside of the school Friday night by two teens who reportedly announced a holdup. The man fired shots, hitting and killing 16-year-old Michael Scott and wounding a 15-year-old boy.
The office is now reviewing a warrant request from the police department.
