LANSING (WKZO) -- Michigan’s medical marijuana program faces many questions and may have blurred the line between what is legal and what is not, but it is making money for the state. It’s brought in about ten-million dollars in fees from applicants applying for permits for use and to be care givers, but it’s only cost about half that amount to administer. The state has had to buy additional equipment and hire additional staff to catch up with a backlog of applications.
