ROBINSON TWP., MI (WHTC) - The waters of the Grand River are expected to crest this morning at 15 and a third feet in Robinson Township as a result of an ice jam at the US-31 drawbridge in Grand Haven. Several homes along Van Lopik Drive, which was swamped more than eight years ago by over 18 feet of water, are affected by this latest situation. A Flood Warning for the area remains through Sunday morning. Ottawa County Emergency Management officials continue to confer with township and Grand Haven city leaders, and at this point, there are “no feasible solutions” to break the ice jam.
