FLINT (WKZO) -- As of now, anyone applying for a job at Flint-based McLaren Health Center won't get hired if they test positive for nicotine.  The new policy does not apply to current employees.

The new policy may also include people who use electronic cigarettes instead of smokeless tobacco or lighting up.  It took effect on February 1st for McLaren's Flint, Lapeer, Macomb and Lansing facilities.
