HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - The owners of Holland’s Century Lanes say that they will attempt to reopen their bowling alley as quickly as possible, but no date has yet to be determined, after a fire destroyed the facility’s kitchen yesterday morning. Crews from three neighboring communities assisted Holland Public Safety firefighters in bringing the blaze under control. While the fire was contained to the kitchen, smoke and water throughout the building led to an initial damage estimate of 200 thousand dollars. Investigators don’t believe that the fire was suspicious. The bowling alley was unoccupied at the time, and there were no injuries to any responding firefighters.
