HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - An overnight spike of around 20 cents per gallon, the second such gouge in a week, has sent gas prices along the Lakeshore to an average of $3.75, based on this morning’s survey of Holland area stations. Last Friday, the mean stood at $3.34, so the 41-cent jump in a seven-day span is one of the largest in the poll’s 10-year history. A year ago, fuel was selling for $3.59 in and around the Tulip City.
