DETROIT (WKZO) -- Confessed murderer Joe Gentz is scheduled for sentencing Friday in the the January 2012 killing of Jane Bashara.

Since his arrest last year, Gentz has claimed that he was hired by Bashara's husband Bob to kill the woman.  Gentz has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the case.

Bob Bashara is in prison on a solicitation of murder conviction after trying to hire someone to kill a jailed Gentz.
