UNDATED (WHTC) -- If you’re interested in birds and how many of them are on the Lakeshore, dress up warmly and head for the DeGraaf Nature Center on January 2nd. The National Audobon’s Christmas Bird Count will take place for the 114th year, making it the longest data collecting survey of winter birds on earth. The survey covers a 15 mile diameter that fits between Holland’s north side and Saugatuck/Douglas. If you’d like to help with the count, call 616-355-1057 to register and join a team.
