HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - It’s the last day on the job for Tom Renner. After 47 years as Hope College’s chief publicist, the 68-year-old South Haven man is retiring completely from the school after relinquishing his sports information duties to Alan Babbitt in July, but he stayed on for an additional six months to help in the transition period for new Hope president John Knapp. Renner still plans to be involved as a volunteer in various college activities, and will help catalogue his massive photo collection into Hope’s archives.
