UNDATED (WHTC) -- Governor Rick Snyder has issued a message on things accomplished in 2013. He said that state legislators have balanced the budget ahead of schedule for three years in a row and increased funding for K-12 education. Snyder also said that Michigan job creators have continued to grow and expand with more than 220-thousand jobs added to the private sector. Also, according to University of Michigan economists, the state is on track to reach job levels not seen since before the Great Recession. Snyder went on to say that the work isn’t finished yet and that we need to work together to reinvent our state to create more and better jobs and a brighter future for our kids.
