UNDATED (WHTC) -- Crews from 13 different states along with two thousand Consumers Energy and in-state contractor field and office employees are still working to restore power to customers, some of whom have been without electricity since Sunday. In our area, a little less than 300 Kent County residents are still in the dark. Warmer temperatures will melt ice on the trees which could cause additional damage to power lines. If you see a downed power line contact law enforcement or call 800-477-5050.
