UNDATED (WHTC) -- Some Consumers Energy customers are still waiting for their power to be restored though the number is dwindling. As of late Wednesday afternoon, almost 22-hundred Allegan customers and close to 38-hundred Kent County customers are still in the dark. Weather conditions aren’t helping matters with gusting winds slowing utility crews down. More than 29-hundred field and office employees from Consumers Energy, Michigan-based contractors and workers from 11 states and Washington, D.C. are focused on the storm restoration.
