HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - Shots fired outside of a Holland home last night has led to the arrest of a suspect.
Public Safety officers were called to the house in the 300 block of West 21st Street around 10 PM by family members of the unnamed man after he discovered that his now ex-wife had an affair during their marriage. Additional callers then said that they heard gunshots, and investigators believe that the suspect and a friend drove to the residence for a confrontation with the “other man”. He allegedly approached the house, fired several rounds from a handgun into the ground, and broke a front window with a hammer, but never entered the residence. The suspect was arrested when officers arrived, and is awaiting arraignment on various charges in Holland District Court.
