HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -- An annual holiday tradition takes place this weekend and next at the Cappon House Museum. The Victorian Christmas Tea is a fun opportunity to learn about Holland’s history and to enjoy the Cappon House dressed in its authentic Christmas Finery. Education Coordinator Wendy Van Woerkom says that another day has been added which would be next Saturday. Cookies served at the tea include an original Cappon family recipe. There will be a demonstration on using a hand cranked sewing machine and docents will be on hand to answer questions. This weekend is pretty much full but you can still make a reservation for one of the seatings on Saturday, December 21st.
