LANSING (WKZO) -- Over eight-thousand unemployed Michigan residents may have had their identities at risk for theft due to a security breach on the servers of JPMorgan Chase. Chase officials discovered in mid-September that an unauthorized party may have viewed Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, passwords, home and e-mail address and phone numbers for some Unemployment Insurance Agency debit card holders. Chase is sending letters to all affected cardholders and is urging them to enroll in credit monitoring through ITAC Sentinel Plus.
