UNDATED (WHTC) -- A Kent County Commissioner arrested in November and charged with four counts of first-degree criminal-sexual conduct has now resigned his position. Gary Rolls waived a court hearing last week. The case is now headed to federal court. Mlive is reporting that Kent County Commission Chairman Dan Koorndyk reported that he had received a resignation letter from Rolls, effective January 1st. Rolls is currently free on a 500-thousand dollar bond.
