HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) -- City Manager Ryan Cotton has been able to raise quite a bit of money through private donations and grants for the renovations at Windmill Island Gardens but there are still a few more things to be done. A bridge to connect the Gardens to the trails on the north side and create more connections to the south, including Downtown Holland, are in the near future. More money needs to be raised to complete the renovations and the City Manager has a few ideas. You can honor family or friends with a donation that will put their name on plaque at Windmill Island Gardens. The hopes are that everything will be completed prior to the 2014 season opening.
