EAST LANSING, MI (WTVB) -East Lansing police on Monday said they will be seeking charges against at least 15 young adults, about 12 of them Michigan State University students, after disturbances that broke out after MSU beat Ohio State in the Big Ten college football championship game.  Police say there were 57 small fires started Saturday evening. Others may be charged, up to $20,000 in reward money is being offered for information on those responsible.

MSU President Lou Ann Simon calls the behavior “disappointing” and is promising university sanctions against any students who are convicted. An engineering student who lost his car when it was flipped over during the celebrations will be getting another car.  A Website set up to raise money to replace the car collected $3,500 in one day.
