EAST LANSING (WKZO) -- East Lansing police are looking for tips and information concerning the out-of-control celebrations Saturday night and early Sunday morning following the Michigan State football win. Arrest numbers have been posted by the ELPD on Facebook, with 12 of the 15 taken into custody being current MSU students.
One is a Michigan State graduate. Police plan to announce rewards for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved in the revelry soon.
Fans burned couches, launched fireworks and jammed the streets of East Lansing after the Spartans defeated previously unbeaten Ohio State to win the Big Ten championship and a berth in the Rose Bowl on Saturday.
